Ploma will embark on a seven-day expedition through the Amazon rainforest in early 2027.
Together with our group, we will explore the tropical forests of the Amazon, observe the surrounding nature, visit beautiful and remote locations, and learn more about the unique world hidden deep within the rainforest.
For us, this journey is not only about adventure. It is an opportunity to experience the Amazon as it truly is — a vast, living, and extraordinary ecosystem where thousands of species of animals and plants coexist.
We want to observe wildlife in its natural habitat, discover how life exists deep within the rainforest, and simply experience a side of nature that is impossible to see in everyday urban life.
The Story of the Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon rainforest is one of the most extraordinary natural regions on our planet. Vast areas of tropical forest stretch across South America, while the Amazon River flows through them — one of the greatest rivers on Earth.
For thousands of years, the region has been home to Indigenous peoples who have learned to live alongside their environment, passing knowledge about the forests, rivers, and wildlife from generation to generation.
The Amazon became known around the world for its enormous scale and incredible biodiversity. Jaguars, monkeys, sloths, anacondas, caimans, hundreds of species of birds, and countless other animals can be found here. Many species of plants and animals remain poorly understood and continue to be studied today.
But the Amazon is more than dense forests and wildlife. It is an entire ecosystem of rivers, islands, wetlands, villages, and territories where human life remains deeply connected to the surrounding environment.
That is why Ploma wants to go there not simply for a journey, but to experience this world firsthand, observe it, and better understand just how extraordinary our planet can be.
In early 2027, our team will spend seven days deep within the Amazon rainforest — exploring nature, observing wildlife, and discovering one of the most remarkable places on Earth.
